Dave waits with the car as we get our parking pass.
After cramming our suitcases and saying our goodbyes to friends we journeyed down along the coast to our new home: a well-lit spacious Airbnb near Colonia Santa Anita. I find myself thinking back to how our first attempted meetup about a year ago was cancelled - the lake we wanted to picnic at turned into a fiery hellscape. Let's hope this attempt goes better.
thoughts & questions:
- Just as moving into a new home requires us to re-orient ourselves to our new surroundings, moving in with friends forces us to examine ourselves in relation to each other from a new perspective
- What does being a co-nomad mean? How can we be better co-nomads for and with one another?
- How do we keep friends near and far up to date with one another even as each person travels in every which direction?
- What does a continuous stream of information (camera live stream, sensor data, weather data) being shared as an NFT look and feel like?
- What does a "future information promise" look like?
- Potholes are organic inverted speed bumps
