Context
I adore peony flowers. It pains me, their beauty, their smell.
I had not bought fresh cut flowers for myself in years. When I left my last paying job, I told myself I couldn’t indulge in fresh cut flowers, until I had a steady income stream again.
I’m still not making money consistently but when in LA, I discovered there was a flower district and couldn’t resist - after all it is peony season.
